Tess Pottinger, PhD

  • Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences (in Medicine) at CUMC
Profile Headshot

Overview

Tess Pottinger, PhD is a computation geneticist and genetic epidemiologist. Her research interests include utilizing genetic and genomic data from large consortia and biobanks to better understand the relationship between biology and disease outcomes. These data in conjunction with environmental and social data provide an ideal framework for understanding and reducing racial disparities that currently exist across healthcare systems.
