    Inés Robles Aponte, MD, MS is originally from Puerto Rico and earned her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai Morningside/West. Currently, she is a post-doctoral clinical fellow in internal medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and recently obtained her Master of Science in Epidemiology at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her academic interests are focused on health disparities and population health. Her goal is to practice and teach primary care medicine in underserved communities, while also researching ways to improve health access and utilization.
